ZZ Plant

ZZ is the acronym of its scientific name Zamioculcas Zamiifolia. ZZ plants are notorious for being low-maintenance, east-to-care-for houseplant that even gardener who keep forgetting about their plants can keep alive. They continue to love and grow even when you neglect them.

All they need to thrive is adequate light, and good watering every couple of weeks. ZZ plants grow from rhizomes which help them store water underground, making them drought-tolerant plants.

They have bright, shiny leaves which grow on thick stem emerging from the rhizomes. They are fairly fast growing plant and can be used on table tops or in bigger pots on the floor.
