Description

Sunlight: Bright indirect light. Too much direct light may turn the leaves yellow.

 

Watering: Keep the soil moist while allowing the soil to dry out between watering.

 

Pests: Rarely has pest problems but when is does Whitefly, mealy bugs may be the common pests.

 

Repotting: repot in bigger container in 2-3 years or root prune to keep in the same container.

Areca palms like moist soil which is well draining. Simply dig a hole in the bottom of the container and mix some sand in the soil before potting the plant.
